Russian Tea Cakes
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 t. vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
1/4 t. salt
3/4 cup ground walnuts
powdered sugar for rolling
Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat in flour and salt. Stir in nuts. Roll dough into 1 1/2 inch balls and place on greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 for 10 - 12 minutes, being careful not to over brown. Cool on racks for 5 minutes and roll in powdered sugar. When completely cooled, roll again in powdered sugar.
