Linguini and Clam Sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
4 large cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/3 cup white wine
1 can (6 1/2 oz.) chopped clams, undrained.

Heat oil in skillet. Add garlic and herbs and sauté on medium heat until slightly golden. Pour in wine and raise heat to boiling, then add clams and sugar. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring frequently, for 15 minutes. Adjust seasoning and add a squeeze of lemon juice. Serve over cooked linguini pasta with parmesan.
