Eggnog
1 dozen large eggs, separated
1 quart 1/2 and 1/2
1 pint whipping cream
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 quart whole milk
1 to 1 1/2 cups sugar
Cinnamon and nutmeg
Beat together egg yolks, 1 1/2 cups sugar, vanilla and salt until well blended. Beat in 1/2 and 1/2. Pour in Milk and stir to mix. Beat cream stiff. Beat egg whites stiff. Fold in whites and cream until well blended. Taste for sweetness and add sugar if needed. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg and chill for several hours. Stir and pour into punch bowl.
Spike when serving with: Whiskey, Kahlua, Amaretto, Creme de Menthe or any liquor of choice.
