Citrus Vodka

6 slices orange rind, orange part only
6 slices lemon rind, yellow part only 
6 slices lime rind, green part only 
(be sure to remove all the pith from the fruit rinds)
1 (750 ml) bottle of vodka 

Insert strips of peel into a clean bottle (peels can also be threaded onto a skewer that is then inserted into the bottle.)

Fill the bottle with vodka and seal with a tightly fitting cork. 

Chill at least 1 week and up to six weeks before serving.
